The College of Education offers a degree in ELEMENTARY EDUCATION and ELEMENTARY EDUCATION major in SPECIAL EDUCATION (SPED), and a degree in SECONDARY EDUCATION major in English, Mathematics, MAPE, Physical Sciences and Social Studies.

Objectives of the Program

In consonance with the University Mission Statement, the Program is designed to facilitate the development of a student who:

• demonstrates understanding and acceptance of the school's Christian approach to education;
• demonstrates commitment to personal, professional and spiritual growth;
• demonstrates ability to motivate and guide young poeple's learning of concepts, abilities and attitudes needed in the developmentof our nation; and
• demonstrates proficiency in all subject areas, especially in the professional and major courses.
