.: English for Global Communications
Overview
The English Program for Foreign Students started in 1999. Since then, foreign students from different countries have enrolled in the Program which is administered by the University of St. La Salle - Center for International and External Linkages (CIEL). In 2007 the program was renamed to English for Global Communications Program.
Who Can Apply?
Foreign students with a tourist visa can apply for a special study permit when the University of St. La Salle accepts them as enrollees for the non-credit course in English. The permit is for a six (6) - month period, renewable upon the approval of the university.
Requirements For Special Studies Permits
(Korean students may submit to Phil-Korea Office)
- Affidavit of Support
- Bank Certificate
- Passport - 4 pcs of 2x 2 photos
- Other forms available at CIEL Office
Korean Partner
The University of St. La Salle signed a Partnership Agreemen with PHIL KOREA EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC. for the recruitment of Korean nationals who wish to join the Program. Since 2001, more than 1,500 Korean students have enrolled. All Koreans must be enrolled through Phil Korea.
The Program
Upon arrival, applicants take a test to determine their level of English Proficiency.
