Fifty Marketing and Hotel Management students left for Singapore recently for career training for a period of six months to one year at different prestigious companies.
OJT Coordinator Geffel Joy Santillan said the internship program has the approval of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore.
Santillan added that this is the first batch of student interns from USLS sent abroad for career training.
The interns are comprised of 33 hotel management students and 16 marketing students.
They will be trained in the following companies in Singapore: Grand Hyatt, Sentosa Resort, and Rasa Sentosa, and the Wingtai group of companies like G2000, Topshop, Topman, Adidas, and Nike.
The interns will be trained in all phases of hotel management and marketing.
On Nov.11-15, Santillan and CBA Dean Marissa Quezon joined the official site visit to Singapore organized by the Service On Line and William Lim. |
