The Social Awareness Month celebration at the University of St. La Salle kicked off on Feb. 15 at the Museo Negrense De La Salle with an exhibit opening that features works in canvass depicting different social realities.
Participating in the canvass painting and exhibit were students, faculty, and staff of USLS as well as invited local artists.
Balayan, the community extension office of the University, through its Director Ann Gladys Ponteras said there are several activities including workshops and forums that are in line for the Lasallian community the whole month of February.
The Ateneo School of Government in collaboration with the College of Business and Accountancy will have a workshop entitled on iChange Youth Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship from Feb. 16-17.
Meanwhile, senior Management Accounting students are to hold the CSR Congress 2012: Creating a CSR State of Mind on Feb. 18, 8:00 am at the Sugarland Hotel.
