Potential and interested qualified mid-career professionals and faculty may submit their complete applications for 2013-2014 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program in the United States by Friday, June 8, 2012. Complete applications and all requirements must be received by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) on or before June 8, 2012.
The fellowships are granted competitively to candidates with a commitment to public service in both the public and private sectors. The program is designed to meet the requirements of policy makers, planners, and managers who have a public service orientation, are committed to their country’s development, and have demonstrated leadership potential.
The applicants may come from the following areas: agricultural development/agricultural economics; communications/journalism; economic development/ finance and banking; educational administration; planning and policy; HIV/AIDS policy and prevention; human resource management; law and human rights; natural resources and environmental management; public health policy and management; public policy analysis and public administration; substance abuse education, treatment and prevention; Teaching of English as a Foreign Language; technology policy and management; trafficking in persons, policy and prevention; urban and regional planning.
The fellowship provides tuition and university fees, a monthly maintenance allowance, book and supplies allowance, round-trip international travel to the host institution award covers international travel (budget economy‑ONLY for the scholar), maintenance allowance, professional development allowance, a settling-in allowance, and limited medical insurance for the successful scholar.
