An institutional blood donation activity spearheaded by the Integrated School Parents’ Association (INSPA) in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross- Bacolod Chapter is scheduled on July 29, Sunday, at the USLS-IS Primary Covered Court.

The blood drive themed “Patak Sang Dugo Mo, Sugpon Sang Kabuhi Ko” will start at 8:00 am until 4:00pm.

INSPA President Georgina Lorilla said the increase demand for blood during the dengue season prompted the association to lead the blood donation activity.

"There is no substitute for human blood and the only way someone can get a blood transfusion is through someone else’s generosity," Lorilla said.

Last December, INSPA was able to collect 58 bags from the Christmas Blood Drive.

This 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration project of INSPA is open to the public.
