'Lasalista, Ikaw Na: Ang Pagbigay Pugay sa Kagalingan ng Pinoy'-This is what the University of St. La Salle Student Government wants to highlight during the celebration of the Linggo ng Lahi 2012 to empower student talents and skills in sports, literature, and performing arts.
The weeklong celebration began on August 6 with an Inter-College "Palarong Pinoy" which featured games such as "Iguanay", "Tumba Patis", "Jackstone", "Bente Uno", "Agawan Base", "Sambunot", "Sipa", "Chinese Garter", "Patintero", and "Habulin si Porkie".
"We want to bring back the childhood experience of every Lasallian by having these games and also to showcase that this heritage of ours is preserved," USG Executive President Julio Espina said.
Meanwhile, 'Pinoy' superheroes will icon the different colleges that will compete in a night of performances entitled 'BAYANi:Gabi ng Lahi 2012."

Organizers said that the concept of the highlight event is in honor of the 60 years of Filipino Comics and the 60th Diamond Jubilee celebration of USLS.
