Roadshow on Automated Election System set
The Lasallian Justice and Peace Commission (LJPC) and the Lasallian Youth Commission (LYC) in cooperation with the iVote Team-USLS will hold a Road Show on the Automated Election System (AES) on February 26, 2010, 8:00AM – 12:00NN at the Gallaga Theatre. A representative from the Comelec National will be here to conduct a Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine demonstration. Experts on Information Technology from the College of Computer Science of De La Salle University will help inform us on issues and concerns related to the automation system. In the afternoon, a more technical discussion on the automation process and actual election monitoring will be given to those who are interested to volunteer in poll watching.
