Mass Communications
The program introduces students to the nature, theories, concepts and practices of communication in general with emphasis on mass communication (print, radio, television, film and theatre, etc.) The program equips the students with the necessary professional competencies to excel in the field of communication.
Students enrolled in the program will have options whether to take A.B. in Communication only or opt to have an additional certificate in Call Center Operations, Hospitality Management, Education by enrolling specified courses in the student’s special field.
Specific Program Objectives
The AB Communications program aims to develop and produce responsive and competent professionals who:
- understand the nature, operations and functions of communication and the communication insdustry;
- apply the necessary skills learned in the practice of their profession;
- respond effectively to the pressing needs of the times; and
- preserve and enhance Filipino culture through the use of media.
