Bachelor of Science in Business Economics
The program is designed to develop the students’ analytical thinking skills and prepare them to be responsive to current economic issues affecting business environments. The economic theories acquired through various academic exercises coupled with practicum/on-the-job training activities are expected to enhance their professional preparation in the field of Business Economics.
Specific Program Objectives
In line with the University Mission Statement and the standards for higher education, the program aims to achieve the following:
- equip the students with insights and understanding of economic principles and theories;
- develop their competencies and skills as economic analysts and entrepreneurs;
- enhance their interpersonal and communication skills, and develop their self-confidence in approaching problems, issues and tasks with skill and decisiveness;
- prepare them to pursue a teaching career or graduate studies in business; and
- deepen their commitment to the growth and development of the family, community and society within the context of authentic Christian values and attitudes.
