Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting

The Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting program equips students with knowledge and skills in management accounting, and trains them to be as competitive as accounting graduates with a broader perspective in business, as they are consistently exposed to activities that involve analysis, evaluation and critical thinking.

The curriculum provides a strong foundation for its graduates to become Certified Management Accountants (CMA) or to be Certified in Financial Management (CFM), titles which are recognized anywhere in the world.

Specific Program Objectives

The program is designed to achieve the following general objectives:

  • to prepare students to be management accountants in business;
  • to establish Management Accounting as a recognized profession in the field of business;
  • to encourage stricter and high quality educational standards in Management Accounting; and
  • to provide an objective means for measuring the Management Accountant’s knowledge and competence.
