University of St. La Salle won the ZONTA International District 17 ANGELS Award for Outstanding Institute of Area 3 in Davao City.

ZONTA Club Bacolod President Josefa Puentevella turned-over the trophy to USLS President and Chancellor Br. Ray Suplido FSC during the ZONTA Club meeting at the Sea Breeze Hotel last March 4.

USLS was nominated by the ZONTA Club of Bacolod for its corporate social responsibility and outreach program which aims to serve as catalyst for social transformation.

ANGELS stands for Advancing women's status, New club and new members, Global empowerment, Education opportunities, Local action, Service and solutions.
