Aug 02, 2012

The College of Medicine held the 7th Dr. Ernesto P. Namin Lecture Series on August 1 with Dr. Samuel Bernal as guest lecturer.

In his presentation, Bernal pointed out the importance of stem cells and how the study of stem cells evolved.

He also added that stem cell treatment is appropriate for developing countries like the Philippines but cautioned everyone about the harm of some stem cells.

This year, USLS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the College of Medicine.

In its 10 years of existence, the College of Medicine has 112 competent faculty members and produced 111 graduates and medical professionals.
