Upper Grades Multimedia Center


Upper Grade Multimedia is a support unit which provides the academic community with the adequate equipment, non-print instructional materials, facility and services to complement formal instruction and co-curricular activities as well.

FACILITIES:

CAI Room (Computer-Aided Instruction Room) – a room for computerized instruction connected to the internet, presentation of Power Point, CD-ROM, integration of multi media such as Video, Clip Art, Html downloaded from the internet and other Multimedia with a seating capacity of 50.

Satellite Projections

Classroom – (On-line classroom satellite access network system) a multimedia classroom equipped with a TV monitor, an intercom & speaker, amplified surround audio which is controlled at the Multimedia Center and fed with digital video.

General Guidelines in the Use of Multimedia Facilities and Services

The borrower is responsible for the transport, proper use and care of materials and equipment borrowed from High School Multimedia Center. Loss and/or damages are chargeable to the borrower.

General Guidelines in the Use of AV Facility and Services

  • All materials and equipment should be returned right after their use.
  • The CAI Room should be kept clean and neat at all times.
  • The “NO SMOKING” and “NO EATING” policies should be strictly observed. 
  • The borrower should present their School ID and deposit when borrowing materials and/or equipment.

 

Guidelines for Using the CAI

  • The program for presentation should submit at least 24 hours advance to the target schedule.
  • For student’s presentation reporting, teachers should preview the student’s material before they present to the class.

Policy on the Use of CAI Room

  • Do not write anything on the chairs or on the walls.
  • No Smoking
  • No eating
  • No straddling
  • No loitering

 

Policy on the Use of OHP

  • The homeroom class is responsible for the proper care and use of the OHP.
  • Do not transport the projector from assigned classroom to another. 
  • The user is responsible for the care; loss and or damages are chargeable to homeroom.
  • Present ID/Library Card when borrowing the key.
  • Subject teachers are asks not to leave the room if the OHP were kept & padlock the OHP cabinet.

 

MULTER Productions

Multer Productions is an extra-curricular school organization composed of selected students who will meet the qualifications/criteria that will assist the Multimedia Center, render services to the school through documentation/filming of school activities (curricular and extra-curricular) as well as enhance and enriched the students skills and talents in multi-media productions.
