ViewThe Lower Grades Computer Center aims to support the Computer Education Curriculum from Grades 1 to 7 under the Practical Arts Department. The laboratory is under the supervision of a Laboratory In-Charge in coordination with the Department Chairperson of thePractical Arts Department.
A. The Computer Center includes the following features:
1. Forty-Six (46) Computer Work Stations
2. Two (2) Printers
3. Two (2) Network Hubs for the Internet Access
4. One (1) Demo Unit with TV set
5. LCD & Screen
B. Policies and Services Offered
1. Lower Grades students may use the computer facilities after class for the following reasons:
a. to follow-up work assigned by their Math and Computer teachers
b to encode their assignments in other subjects
c to familiarize some educational softwares
d to do make-up quizzes or assignments
2. Teachers may request for printing in the lab such as:
a. materials needed for instruction
b. departmental reports/ requirements
c. examination papers
d. grade sheets/class records
e. scope and sequence and syllabi
f. and other teaching-related materials
3. Reminders in using the computer facilities:
a. Observe proper procedure in starting up and shutting down the computer.
b. Food and drinks are prohibited inside the laboratory
c. Diskettes coming from outside sources will be checked first before they may be used inside the laboratory
d. Problems with the computer must be reported immediately to the In-charge.
e. Request forms are available at the lab for documentation purposes.
f. Request for training may be scheduled through the TITP as part of the Faculty Development Program.
