Lasallian Alumnus among NCCA 2018 Taboan Awardees
Bacolod writer and Lasallian alumnus, Atty. Raymundo T. Pandan, Jr. was presented with the 2018 Taboan Award during the 10th Taboan Writers Festival of the National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
This year’s theme, “Sandúgò: Philippine Literature in the Digital Age” was celebrated at the Bohol Cultural Center, Tagbilaran, Bohol last October 19, 2018 and was attended by writers from all over the Philippines.
Pandan has published his poetry in Focus Philippines, Handurao, Philippine Panorama, Philippine Studies, Versus, Mithi, and Caracoa among many others.
He was a Valedictorian of La Salle Bacolod High School in 1979 and served as Dean of the College of Law of the University of St. La Salle from 1998 to 2010. He continues to teach in the law school.
