The Learning Resource Center (LRC) at the University of St. La Salle โ Bacolod announces its Libraries Orientation Program for AY 2026โ2027. The orientation aims to guide Lasallians through available library services, print and digital resource collections, study spaces, and research support tools.
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) successfully conducted its 2026 Freshmen Library Orientation Program through a week-long series of orientation sessions held from September 21โ25, 2026.
The USLS Librarians facilitated the program, led by Head Librarian Dr. Joyce Deloso, RL, MSLS, together with Ms. Eden Mae D. Figueroa, RL, Ms. Jewel Ann Merbal, RL, and Ms. Sovie Jhane Sua-an, RL.
The orientation aimed to familiarize students with the libraryโs resources, services, facilities, policies, and research support, while emphasizing the Learning Resource Center's important role in supporting teaching, learning, and academic research.
Throughout the week, students were guided on the proper and effective use of library resources and services to enhance their academic experience and develop responsible and informed information-seeking practices.
The Learning Resource Center extends its appreciation to the students, faculty, IMC, and LRC staff who participated in and supported the successful implementation of the 2026 Library Orientation Program.
