About the Journal Design

The front cover depicts an hourglass, representing the essence of time involved in research. The same hourglass is formed through an upright and inverted triangle, symbolizing the deductive and inductive approach. Contained within, are gears refining pre-existing knowledge and birthing sustainable development and innovation, as represented by the emerging sprouts. If upturned, the sprouts of the top would indicate how new-found knowledge is expounded through geared application. The prismatic colors that were used shows that research is multidimensional and multidisciplinary - indicative of the spectrum of works that would be published under the Journal. The main background color is green, embodying growth, progress and the Lasallian identity. The same concept applies to the back cover - a minimalistic encapsulation of the timeliness needed in research. This cover is able to communicate the mission of the Journal of Higher Education Research to advance numerous fields and continuously.
