JOURNAL OF HIGHER EDUCATION RESEARCH

Print ISSN: 2599-4573, Online ISSN: 3082-5172

Aims & Scope

The Journal of Higher Education Research is the bi-annual scientific publication of the University of St. La Salle. It is a scholarly journal that publishes reports of original and peer-reviewed research works from across multiple disciplines and fields of humanities, education, social, natural and applied sciences, nursing, engineering, business and its related interface. The journal accepts research article submissions that make contributions to interdisciplinary or applied practices. This journal is indexed in the Andrew Gonzales Philippine Citation Index.

About the Journal Design

The front cover depicts an hourglass, representing the essence of time involved in research. The same hourglass is formed through an upright and inverted triangle, symbolizing the deductive and inductive approach. Contained within, are gears refining pre-existing knowledge and birthing sustainable development and innovation, as represented by the emerging sprouts. If upturned, the sprouts of the top would indicate how new-found knowledge is expounded through geared application. The prismatic colors that were used shows that research is multidimensional and multidisciplinary - indicative of the spectrum of works that would be published under the Journal. The main background color is green, embodying growth, progress and the Lasallian identity. The same concept applies to the back cover - a minimalistic encapsulation of the timeliness needed in research. This cover is able to communicate the mission of the Journal of Higher Education Research to advance numerous fields and continuously.

JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING, FOOD SCIENCE & COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES

Print ISSN: 2961-3760, Online ISSN: 3082-5415

Aims & Scope

The Journal of Engineering, Food Science, & Computing Technologies is the annual scientific publication of the College of Engineering and Technology. It is a scholarly journal that publishes reports of original and peer-reviewed basic and applied research works in all fields of engineering, technology and sciences.

About the Journal Design

The Journal of Engineering, Food Science, & Computing Technologies’ cover photo depicts few characteristics, and it particularly made me think of the synergy among technical development, information, and engineering. I believe that the application of the food sciences to technology and engineering improves and advances our economic situation. Some of the factors I took into account while examining the connections between these issues include, but are not limited to, the following: processing methods and protocols, safety, quality, preservation, and functionality. I can infer that these advances have proven beneficial for our economy, safety, and way of life.

BREAKTHROUGHS: A RESEARCH JOURNAL OF LEARNING AND INSTRUCTION

Print ISSN: 3028-2160, Online ISSN: 3082-5407

Aims & Scope

Breakthroughs: A Research Journal of Learning and Instruction is the annual scientific publication of the College of Education, University of St. La Salle. It is a scholarly journal that publishes reports of original and peer reviewed research works in the fields of educational developments and educational practice from elementary to secondary.

About the Journal Design

The cover of the maiden volume of Breakthroughs: A Research Journal of Learning and Instruction features a powerful depiction of Saint Jean-Baptiste De La Salle, the patron saint of teachers and educators, engaged in an enlightening moment with his students. At the center of the design, Saint La Salle, clad in the distinctive robes of his time, embodying wisdom and guidance, shows the contents of a book to his students.

With an aura of warmth and sincerity, Saint La Salle is shown gently opening a large book, symbolizing the wealth of knowledge and wisdom that he imparts to his students. His expression reflects a sense of profound dedication to education and a genuine desire to nurture the minds of those under his care. We can imagine Saint La Salle surrounded by his attentive students, full of curiosity and wonder. This imagery captures the essence of the learning process as a collaborative journey of discovery and growth. This scenario creates a sense of reverence for the pursuit of knowledge and the transformative power of education.

The cover design serves as a fitting tribute to the legacy of Saint La Salle and his timeless commitment to the ideals of teaching and learning. It encapsulates the spirit of Breakthroughs as a platform for sharing innovative research and insights that inspire meaningful advancements in the field of education.
