PUBLIC SERVANT & HEALTHCARE LEADER
Marjorie Alterado Cabrieto is a respected public servant and healthcare leader whose nearly four decades of professional experience reflect a deep commitment to integrity, excellence, and service to the Filipino people. She currently serves as Regional Vice President of PhilHealth Regional Office VI (Central Visayas), a position she assumed in March 2022. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives that strengthen healthcare delivery systems and advance the implementation of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act through collaboration with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders. Her professional career spans 38 years in government service and 12 years in the private sector as a guidance counselor, demonstrating her lifelong dedication to both public administration and human development.
Prior to her current role, she served as Acting Regional Vice President of PhilHealth Regional Office XII (SOCCSARGEN) in 2019, where she led initiatives to expand access to quality healthcare services in Mindanao. Beyond administrative leadership, Ms. Cabrieto actively champions PhilHealth services closer to communities, including engagement with Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to strengthen awareness of healthcare benefits and services. She continues to foster strong partnerships with local government units and healthcare providers to ensure effective implementation of Universal Health Care in Central Visayas.

Cabrieto, a retired seafarer, and together they raised their daughter, Dr. Zennia Patrice Cabrieto, a Doctor of Internal Medicine currently pursuing fellowship training at the Philippine General Hospital.
