NURSE LEADER & HEALTHCARE ADVOCATE
Marie Lobres Salvani is a respected nurse leader whose career spans clinical practice, nursing education, professional leadership, and national regulatory service. She currently serves as a Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), appointed in November 2020 and reappointed for a second term in May 2025. She also serves as Chairperson of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council of Nursing, supporting initiatives that strengthen the professional growth of Filipino nurses.
Beyond regulatory work, she has held key leadership roles in the nursing profession, including National President of the Philippine Nurses Association (2018) and Governor for Region VI (2015-2018). She also served as a faculty member at the University of St. La Salle College of Nursing, helping educate future nurses, and gained international clinical experience as a Unit Manager in New Jersey, USA before continuing her work in nursing leadership and service.
Salvani credits her education at the University of St. La Salle for shaping her identity as a nurse, educator, and leader. The Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion in mission have guided her throughout her career.
Through these principles, she has dedicated her life to strengthening the nursing profession and empowering future generations of healthcare professionals.
