Career Journey

At the helm of SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), the largest professional services firm in the Philippines, is Rossana Antiquiera Fajardo, its Chairperson and Country Managing Partner. She also serves as EY's ASEAN Business Consulting Leader and is a member of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Leadership Team. A proud University of St. La Salle alumna, she earned her BS in Commerce, Major in Accounting, cum laude, in 1988, and became a CPA the same year. She expanded her expertise through global certifications and an Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of Management. Rossana began her career as a junior financial auditor at SGV, growing into IT audit, analytics, and consulting leadership roles. In 2025, she was appointed Commissioner of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), where she led financial oversight and governance reforms for national infrastructure projects.

Achievements and Recognition

• • Leads initiatives promoting women's empowerment, leadership development, and STEM education.
• • Heads the Philippine EY STEM Girls Program and mentors through the SGV/MAP Next Gen CEO Program.
• • Supports community engagement and women's sports, including the De La Salle University Women's Varsity Softball Team.
• • Active member of professional organizations such as PICPA, ISACA, ACFE, MAP, MBC, and PBSP.
