The Thanksgiving Mass, led by Fr. Rev. Jerryvel A. Celestial, MAT, was attended by students from Pre-Kinder, Kinder, Grade 6, and Grade 10, accompanied by teachers, parents, and school administrators.
During his homily, Fr. Celestial extended his congratulations to the students and reflected upon the teachings of the gospel, emphasizing the significance of compassion and encouraging Lasallians to integrate it into their lives.
Meanwhile, Dr. Baldomero F. Defensor Jr., PhD, Principal of the Basic Education Unit, expressed gratitude to the students and inspired them to embrace challenges with open arms.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining optimism and purpose as they continue their educational journey.
"As we offer our gratitude for all that has brought us to this moment, let us also look to the future with optimism and a sense of purpose. As you continue on your educational paths, carry the spirit of Lasallian values in your hearts and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth," Defensor said.
Following the Thanksgiving Mass, the ceremony proceeded with the recognition of Grade 10 academic achievers for the Third and Fourth Quarters.
The Basic Education Unit also took the opportunity to honor Outstanding Organization Members, Homeroom Officers, Publication Awardees, and those receiving Special Citations.
Notably, outstanding individuals in sports and other special awardees were recognized for their achievements.
