Higher Education Unit

The College Unit of the University of St. La Salle is a Catholic learning community inspired by St. John Baptist De La Salle and the human and Christian education of the young, especially the poor. Moved by the Spirit of Faith, Zeal for Service, and Communion in Mission, the Higher Education Unit of La Salle Bacolod aims to form Christian men and women and accompany them to develop their full potential in becoming competent, confident, concerned, and committed persons for social transformation.

Formation Goals

The College aims to form students who are able to think and express themselves clearly, critically and objectively, enabling them to excel in their chosen fields and to translate knowledge into something useful for society.

The College aims to form students who are emotionally mature, socially responsible, and especially sensitive to addressing the needs of the less fortunate, particularly the youth at risk.

The College aims to form students who are rooted in their spiritual and moral values, living these out in their daily decisions and actions as responsible members of their workplace, their family, Church, community, and society.

The College aims to form students who are secure in the richness of their Filipino cultural heritage but respectful of cultural diversity, making them true global citizens.
