BPI Foundation Signs MOA with USLS for financial literacy
The University together with BPI Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a collaboration on a financial literacy program at the University Boardroom on July 29.
The partnership aims to reach partner communities and implement the program, which will be utilized to benefit eight Barangays and public schools.
BPI Foundation Representative and a graduate of the Yu An Log - College of Business and Accountancy (YAL-CBA) Manolo Nava stated, "Knowledge starts at home, so why not start here [the University]," explaining why BPI Foundation partnered with the University for the program.
The program highlighted the importance of financial literacy in our community, emphasizing it as a way to empower the youth and the future of our country.
The MOA was signed by Br. Irwin Climaco FSC, University Chancellor Minnie Chua, Dr. Shiella Trajera, Center for Linkages and International Affairs Director, Dean of YAL-CBA Dr. Noreza Causing, and Beverly Peña from Alumni Relations, together with the representatives from BPI Foundation.
The University looks forward to the implementation of the programs to promote a better, more financially responsible life among the Lasallian community and the benefit of the partner communities.
