BSIT students qualify for Regional DTI Pitching Competition
Four groups from Second year BSIT students qualify for the Moonshot Trabaho Negosyo Konsyumer (TNK) Online Business Incubation Bootcamp and Pitching Competition in September 2024, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry Region VI to showcase their game-changing solutions and make an impact in the startup ecosystem.
The event will comprise 47 startups all over the region where 29 teams under the Tech category, and 18 teams under Non-tech. Among the startup teams under Tech in Negros Occidental, four of which are from the University. Team Sprout Agriculture with members Christian Carlo Espinosa, Justine Raphael Geolingo, Chad Zimmermann; Team Care Tech with Kyle Andrea Arguelles, Chloe Vencer, Noela Hazel Zara; Iconsult Team with Andrei Paguntalan, Vizarie Candeluna, Cyrine dean Aguarte, and Team Trabaho sa Barrio with Kharyl B. Alejo, Melfay Shain Jison, Rainer V. Pilasol.
