Six students from the College of Computing Studies (CCS) represented USLS in the Virtual CommTECH Exploration 2026: ITS Students’ Talent Explorations. The program was held from January 5 to 16 and organized by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia.
The participants were Hannah Nathania Abril Doren, Pia Therese Carmona Torred, AJ Angela V. Uy, Emarie E. Andalajao, Anya Joleen Visitacion Montilla, and Jonela Rojo.
Pia Therese Torred was recognized as one of the Best Participants in the Virtual CommTECH Program. This award honors students who demonstrate outstanding engagement, active participation, and academic excellence.
The CommTECH Program gives students from different countries the chance to explore technology and community solutions while learning about other cultures. Activities include online courses, virtual visits, discussions with organizations, cultural sessions, and a Virtual Project Exhibition.
ITS has been a partner of the University since 2022 and is part of the Asian International Mobility for Students Programme (AIMS) and University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) networks.
