Dr. Toni-An B. Lachica, Dean of the College of Nursing, successfully completed the United Board Fellows Program, which ran from July 2024 to June 2025.
The program concluded with a graduation ceremony held on June 9, 2025, at Column Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
The fellowship began in Singapore, where participants gathered at Singapore Management University from July 22 to 26, 2024.
It continued in Japan from April 6 to 18, 2025, with academic engagements in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kyoto. In Tokyo, fellows visited the International Christian University, Sophia University, and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
The program then proceeded to Nanzan University in Nagoya, followed by stops at Ritsumeikan University, Doshisha University, and the University of Tübingen Center for Japanese Studies in Kyoto.
The final leg took place at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok from June 5 to 10, 2025.
Dr. Lachica’s completion of the program underscores her dedication to academic leadership, cross-cultural learning, and global collaboration in higher education.
