HEU on-site face-to-face classes suspended on August 29, 2023
In a significant update, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA) has announced the suspension of on-site face-to-face synchronous classes for the USLS Higher Education Unit on August 29, 2023.
This decision comes in response to Executive Order No. 47, Series of 2023, issued by the Bacolod City LGU.
The action is prompted by the Torrential Rainfall Warning issued by the NDRRMC, indicating potential hazardous weather conditions.
Students equipped with internet access are encouraged to engage in asynchronous learning through the university's Learning Management System.
Students in the College of Medicine MD 4 and the College of Law are advised to consult their respective College Deans for specific instructions. Furthermore, all On the Job Training/Internship activities scheduled for the same date are also suspended.
Pending any further announcements from the Bacolod City Mayor's Office, classes are slated to resume on-site face-to-face learning on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
