The University welcomed delegates from the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) for a benchmarking visit on its Income-Generating Projects (IGPs).
The visit, organized for ISAT-U’s Office of the Integrated Income and Resource Generation Program, aimed to provide insights into management strategies, financial monitoring systems, and best practices in running income-generating initiatives.

The delegation, led by Dr. Melba Magote with Dumangas Campus Administrator Dr. Ramil Lumauag and Barotac Nuevo Campus Administrator Dr. Nilde Alderite, was received by University administrators and officials for a series of discussions.
Presentations were delivered by Vice Chancellor for Administration Michael Villanueva and Director for Ancillary Services and Facilities Management Services Revie Salvio, while Vice Chancellor for Finance Charo Mae Cordova highlighted financial monitoring mechanisms that ensure sustainability and accountability.

The benchmarking session was facilitated by June Carl Seran, OIC Director of the Center for Linkages and International Affairs.
Following the discussions, the ISAT-U delegation toured University facilities, including income-generating projects and support services, to gain firsthand insight into operations that contribute to the University’s financial sustainability.
