Memorial Mass & Scholarship fund for Med School dedicated to Dr. Ricky and China Gallaga
In recognition of the contributions of Dr. Ricardo L. Gallaga Jr. and Ma. Cecilia E. Gallaga to the Lasallian mission, a dedicated scholarship fund was launched and a memorial mass was held on September 3, 2024, at the Doña Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Chapel, attended by students of the College of Medicine.
Tribute messages were made by notable individuals from the College of Medicine, the University administration, and members of the Gallaga family. They highlighted the significant contributions of Dr. Ricky and China Gallaga during their tenure.
Trisa Gallaga, daughter of Dr. Ricky and China Gallaga, accepted the certificate of establishment for the scholarship fund on behalf of the family.
The scholarship fund of 500,000 pesos was established to provide tuition assistance to financially deprived but deserving students enrolled in the Medicine Program of the University.
The Lasallian community extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Ricky and China Gallaga for their selfless contributions.
