Pasayod Seminar Enlightens Marketing Students on Digital Marketing Trends

Four industry experts were invited as guest speakers to provide invaluable insights to USLS marketing students during the annual Pasayod seminar, held this year at Victory Bacolod on April 6.

The Pasayod 2024 seminar, titled "Breakthrough: Deciphering the Code to Digital Marketing," aimed to equip 18 simulated ad agencies with knowledge, tactics, and skills applicable to advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning.

Among the esteemed speakers were DOBO Ads’ Creative Director Reniel Peñaranda and Chief Executive Officer Ronnie Oyos, who delved into various ad styles and the creative process.

Growth Collective’s Marketing Manager Ransom Agui discussed the effectiveness of social media advertising and current digital trends.

Meanwhile, USLS Director for Marketing and Communications Mark Dueñas emphasized the importance of mastering brand message consistency across platforms, highlighting the 3Gs: goals, guts, and grit.

Pasayod concludes in May 2024 with an awards night recognizing this year’s best ad campaigns and the creative outputs of student marketers for their chosen clients.

The advertising class adviser, Sonny Cabahug, together with the Pasayod 2024 committee headed by Felicity Ibrado, expects this year’s awards night to be as glittering as the previous editions.
