The USLS 2022 Pulso Ng Lasalyano Mock Elections results are now out!
After the two-day University-wide Mock Elections last February 16 - 17, 2022, the University successfully garnered a total number of 2,875 respondents.
In partnership with Center for Marketing and Communications, Balayan Social Development Center, University Student Government, USG-Commission on Elections, Liceo Student Government and Liceo Commission on Elections, the activity was actively participated by the eligible faculty, staff and student voters from Basic Education Unit (Liceo De La Salle - SHS), Higher Education Unit, Graduate school, USLS College of Law, and College of Medicine.
With a total of 2,875 Lasallian voters, the said Mock Elections was composed of the national elective positions from President, Vice President and Senator.
Leading the election race for President, VP Leni Robredo accumulated a total of 2, 247 votes (78.16%), followed by former senator Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr. with 269 votes (9.36%), 52 votes (1.81%) for Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno, 46 votes (1.60%) for Senator Ping Lacson, 32 votes (1.11%) for Leody De Guzman, 11 votes (0.38%) for Senator Manny Pacquiao, 5 votes (0.17%) for Ernie Abella, 3 votes (0.10%) for Jose Montemayor Jr., 2 votes (0.07%) for Norberto Gonzales, 0% for Faisal Mangondato respectively. A total of 208 (7.23%) voters remained undecided during the conduct of the Mock Election.
The Vice Presidential position was dominated by Senator Kiko Pangilinan with a total of 1992 votes (69.29%), followed by Davao City Sara Duterte with 358 votes (12.45%), 102 votes (3.55%) for Doc Willie Ong, 87 votes (3.03%) for Senate President Tito Sotto, 29 votes (1.01%) for Walden Bello, 12 votes (0.42%) for Lito Atienza, 2 votes (0.07%) for Rizalito David, 2 votes (0.07%) for Carlos Serapio, and 1 vote (0.03%) for Manny Lopez respectively. A total of 290 (10.09%) voters remained undecided during the conduct of the Mock Election.
Taking the first rank for the Senatorial position, Atty. Chel Diokno garnered a total of 2,307 votes (11.97%), next in line is Senator Risa Hontiveros with 1799 votes (9.34%), Governor Chiz Escudero accumulated 1,454 votes (7.55%), 1,260 votes (6.54%) for Neri Colmenares, 1,239 votes (6.43%) for Senator Leila De Lima, 1,128 votes (5.85%) for Teddy Baguilat, 960 votes (4.98%) for Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, 839 votes (4.35%) for Congressman Alan Peter Cayetano, 804 votes (4.17%) for Senator Dick Gordon, 786 votes (4.08%) for Atty. Alex Lacson, 768 votes (3.99%) for Senator Migz Zubiri, completing the 12 senatorial positions, former Senator Loren Legarda has a total of 546 votes (2.83%).
