USLS-Bahay Pag-Asa Youth Center Achieves DSWD Level 1 Accreditation

The University of St. La Salle Bahay Pag-Asa Youth Center yielded positive results having successfully met all requirements for Level 1 accreditation on October 9-10 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) signifying that the programs and services are at par and compliant to the set standards.

The accreditation is in accordance with the standards outlined in DSWD Memorandum Circular No. 21, series of 2022, that aims to regulate all public and private agencies and organizations in the country that are engaged in providing Social Welfare and Development programs and services.

The Certificate of Accreditation is valid for three years from October 21, 2024, to October 22, 2027.

The Bahay Pag-asa Youth Center operates as a transformational facility exclusively for Children-in-Conflict with the Law and Children-at-Risk from Negros Occidental and surrounding areas.

The Lasallian community congratulates BPYC as they continue to stay dedicated to continuing its mission of providing transformative support and opportunities for youth, as well as its commitment to quality care and services for the youth at-risk.
