USLS College of Education delegation strengthen global forge partnerships with Indonesian Universities for the SEA - Teacher Program
The University’s College of Education (CEd) expanded its global reach during the 10th Batch Evaluation Meeting of the SEA-Teacher Project held on August 5 to 6, 2025, at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, Indonesia.
Representing USLS were CEd Dean, Dr. Joram C. Ausente, and Secondary Education Department Chair and Internationalization Coordinator, Dr. Carlvina F. Cruz, who joined teacher education leaders from 11 countries in reviewing and enhancing the international teacher exchange program.
The delegation also held partnership discussions with Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, led by Dr. Afit Istandaru, Director for International Affairs, to explore expanded internship opportunities for Lasallian student-teachers. In addition, they met with Universitas Negeri Malang, represented by Dr. Evi Eliyanah, Director of International Affairs, to initiate cooperation on AUN-QA benchmarking and SEA-Teacher internship exchanges.
These engagements show the University and the College of Education's commitment to strengthening international collaborations and preparing globally competent Lasallian educators.
