The University of St. La Salle holds that remembering EDSA is not only about honoring the past, but about understanding the present.
The concerns that moved Filipinos to stand together forty years ago remain pressing and relevant up to this day, particularly the pursuit of truth, justice, accountability, and respect for human dignity.
In solidarity with De La Salle Philippines and the One La Salle community, USLS joins the nation in commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
In keeping with this shared commitment, classes and work operations at the University of St. La Salle will be suspended on February 25, 2026, to allow the community time and space for remembrance and reflection.
The University encourages the Lasallian community to mark this anniversary in ways that are meaningful and to give thought to the values that continue to shape democratic life.
As a Lasallian institution, the University upholds these values through education, service, and engagement.
This commitment guides its work and the formation of individuals and communities who contribute responsibly to society today and in the years to come.
