The University of St. La Salle (USLS) has reaffirmed its standing as one of the country’s top-performing nursing institutions after its College of Nursing ranked 6th nationwide in the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), based on results released by the Professional Regulation Commission.

A total of 209 Lasallian nursing graduates successfully passed the board exam, led by Carl Andrew Soliva of Class 2025, who secured 2nd Place with an impressive 93.60% rating.

USLS registered an overall passing rate of 99.52%, significantly higher than the national average of 90.04%. Among its first-time takers, the University posted a 99.51% passing rate, while retakers achieved 100%.

College of Nursing Dean Dr. Toni-an Lachica, RN, MAN, described the outcome as “blessings after blessings,” emphasizing that the milestone reflects the collective discipline, perseverance, and commitment of both students and faculty.

“To our passers, you are now licensed medical professionals, bearers of competence, compassion, and the Lasallian spirit. You are now a part of the Lasallian legacy,” she said.

With this performance, the University’s College of Nursing further solidifies its position as the leading nursing school in Negros Occidental, consistently producing highly competent and compassionate nursing professionals who excel in national licensure examinations.

The 2025 PNLE results strengthen USLS’s long-standing reputation for shaping healthcare practitioners dedicated to service, excellence, and the Lasallian mission.
