The University of St. La Salle (USLS) warmly welcomed four exchange students from Tokyo Metropolitan University for an eight-week academic and cultural immersion program from February 12 to March 27, 2026.
The visiting students, namely Shiki Suzuki, Yura Hirose, and Momo Ando, are Civil and Environmental Engineering students who will engage in language learning, research, and cultural exchange activities during their stay at the University.
As part of the program, the students are enrolled in the Language Learning Program (LLP), where they will develop their English communication skills while experiencing Filipino culture and daily life. They will also pursue coursework and academic engagements in Environmental Science and Engineering under the College of Engineering.
Throughout their stay, the students will participate in various academic and cultural activities designed to provide a meaningful and immersive experience. These include campus tours, cultural orientations, city and heritage tours, and special workshops that showcase Filipino traditions, values, and local practices.
