The University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the ASEAN Accounting Education Workgroup (AAEW) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as a significant step toward strengthening its international presence.

Representing USLS at this landmark event were Chancellor Ms. Minnie O. Chua; Dr. Noreza A. Causing, Dean of the Yu An Log College of Business and Accountancy (YAL-CBA); Dr. Leah May M. Santiago, Program Head of the Accountancy Department; and Dr. Michael V. Baylosis, Program Head of the Management Accounting and Accounting Information System Department.
The collaboration aims to foster internationalization, strengthen linkages, and encourage resource sharing among ASEAN academic institutions. Key initiatives under this partnership include joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programs, academic competitions, and student field visits.
This milestone reflects USLS’s active engagement in the AAEW and reinforces the University’s commitment to global collaboration and excellence in accounting education.
