The University of St. La Salle has made its entry into the Top 100 Universities in the Philippines, landing at 92nd place in the March 2026 update of EduRank, climbing 12 places from its previous ranking of 104th. The milestone highlights USLS as the only university from Negros Occidental to reach the national Top 100.
Aside from the national spotlight, USLS continues to dominate locally as Bacolod’s top university, well ahead of STI West Negros University at 178th nationwide and University of Negros Occidental Recoletos at 183rd.

The achievement marks a significant step for the University and the wider Lasallian community as it reflects USLS’ steady growth in research, the expanding impact of its publications, and the reach of its alumni across sectors.
For the University, the recognition signals that it is not only keeping pace with other top institutions in the country but also solidifying its presence in the national stage.
According to EduRank, the rankings are based on three key measures: research output and citations, non-academic prominence, and the influence of alumni.
The March 2026 update analyzed hundreds of thousands of academic publications, their citations, and the visibility of alumni to determine the national standings.
