Aligned with its commitment to strengthening global initiatives, USLS, through the Center for Linkages and International Affairs (CLIA) hosted an Internationalization Benchmarking with John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod (JBLCF) on July 25 at the University Boardroom.
The Internationalization Benchmarking Activity, spearheaded by Dr. Sheilla M. Trajera, Director of CLIA, and Mr. Jaycee Seran, the incoming Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of CLIA, aimed to share best practices and provide insights into USLS’s internationalization strategies.

Through a collaborative dialogue between the University and JBLCF representatives, the discussion covered key areas such as office structure, budget and funding, student and cultural exchange, internationalization at home, extension services, and institutional partnerships.

Six delegates from John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation, Inc. participated in the activity: Engr. Bernard Sorbito, Jr., OIC of Quality Assurance and Management; Dr. Emeliza T. Estimo, Research Coordinator; Mr. Reinand Y. Ramirez, Chief Accountant; Mr. Ivan June Gayotin, CES Officer; Dr. John Erll N. Destacamento, Dean of CME; and Mr. Jun C. Montano, Unit IR Coordinator.
Both institutions expressed their commitment to exploring future opportunities for partnership and collaboration in support of their shared goal of advancing internationalization in higher education.
