USLS receives 100KW Solar System Donation
The University celebrates a milestone with the turnover of a 100KW Grid-tied Solar System by Benjamin D. Lopue Jr., a distinguished USLS alum, and StarPower Renewable Energy represented by its President, Manuel L. Soriano, M.E. on January 25.
The solar panels, destined for the Yanson Building, were officially received by USLS administrators, led by President Br. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez FSC and Chancellor Minnie O. Chua.
This generous donation, in anticipation of Mr. Lopue's 75th birthday in March, is a welcome start to USLS's plan to transition to solar energy, reinforcing its commitment to a more sustainable and greener future for the University.
