USLS to hold grad rites for 1,419 students on June 4; 53 earn Summa Cum Laude
A total of 1,419 students of the University of St. La Salle will earn their diplomas during the 66th Graduation Rites on June 4 at the St. La Salle Coliseum, marking a significant milestone for the university.
The graduating class consists of students from various colleges: 265 from the College of Arts and Sciences, 799 from the College of Business and Accountancy, 106 from the College of Education, 227 from the College of Engineering and Technology, and 22 from the Juris Doctor Program of the College of Law.
Among the graduates, 251 students will be recognized with Latin honors, including 53 who will receive the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude.
In addition, 53 individuals will be honored with the alma mater award for their outstanding loyalty to USLS.
This year's commencement speaker is Jan Carlo B. Punongbayan, PhD, Assistant Professor and Director for Finance at the School of Economics of the University of the Philippines.
Punongbayan's inspiring speech is expected to motivate the graduates as they embark on their future endeavors.
The graduation ceremony for the College of Nursing is scheduled for July 15, providing an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of nursing graduates separately.
