Yu An Log College of Business and Accountancy student Bryce Patrick Maghari is set to participate in a five-month international exchange program at the University of Tsukuba in Japan under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) AIMS Exchange Program.
As a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting student, Bryce will pursue studies in International Business from October 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. The academic program is designed to enrich his learning experience while broadening his cultural perspectives and understanding of business in an international setting.
Ahead of his departure, Bryce underwent psychological processing facilitated by College Counselor Dr. Cinderella Francisco of the Guidance and Evaluation Center. He also participated in a Pre-Departure Orientation facilitated by CHED AIMS Fall 2025 alumni Laura Mae Confesor, John Ropert Relota, Lorenzo Tadeo Dadivas, and Christine Del Melgar, together with Dr. June Carl Seran and Ms. Nathalie Tan of the Center for Linkages and International Affairs (CLIA).
Drawing from their experiences as exchange students, the CHED AIMS alumni shared insights on cultural immersion, academic expectations, and adjusting to life abroad, offering Bryce practical guidance as he prepares to study in Japan. As he begins his five-month academic journey, Bryce carries the knowledge, values, and Animo spirit of the USLS community as he represents the University and embraces the opportunity to grow as a globally minded Lasallian learner.
The CHED AIMS Exchange Program, initiated by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre (SEAMEO RIHED), promotes student mobility across Asia and provides opportunities for academic exchange, intercultural growth, and professional development.
