The University’s Yu An Log College of Business and Accountancy (YAL-CBA) visited the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) on July 29 as part of the Asian Academic Exchange Week community.
Associate Professor Michelle Zou Junqi, Program Leader of SIT’s Accountancy Program, invited the YAL-CBA Accountancy Program to visit SIT’s Punggol Campus. The visit brought faculty and students from both universities together to exchange views on their accountancy programs and discuss possible areas for collaboration.
Representing USLS were Dr. Noreza Causing, Dean of YAL-CBA; Dr. Michael Baylosis, Program Head of the Management Accounting and Accounting Information System programs; and Mr. Jet Siegbert Oregano, YAL-CBA Research Coordinator. Student representatives Paul Bryan Chua and Sarah Elorio also joined the delegation.
The delegation was welcomed by members of the SIT Accountancy Program, including Associate Professor Koh Sze Kee, Cluster Director of the Business, Communication and Design Cluster; Associate Professor Michelle Zou, Program Leader of Accountancy; and Assistant Professor Jesslyn Lim, Deputy Program Leader of Accountancy.
The discussions focused on the two universities’ accountancy programs and opportunities for continued academic exchange. The visit ended with a tour of SIT’s new consolidated campus along Punggol Coast Road.
