PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD
Commodore Christine Pauline Bergano-Diciano of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is a trailblazing leader whose career exemplifies courage, innovation, and inclusivity. She is one of the first twelve homegrown female officers in PCG history and has held critical leadership roles, including Aviation Force Commander, Internal Audit and Procurement Commander, and Deputy of the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command. Commodore Diciano has pioneered non-traditional roles for women in maritime service, including becoming the first female pilot, first female PCG Air Station Commander, and leading the inclusion of female rescue swimmers and Special Operations Forces personnel. Her leadership has driven reforms in logistics, finance, and gender and development, while also advancing maritime safety, security, and law enforcement initiatives nationally and internationally.
