Atty. Gabriel Lacson’s journey to success is no easy feat. With challenges set before him, he used them as stepping stones to create a better outcome for himself. This is the story of an individual who did not let these challenges hold him back from pursuing greatness.
Known as Atty. Gaby or Nong Gab by many, he has been the kind of leader who didn’t just step up but shook things up for the sake of good governance. He took up his undergraduate at the University, taking up a degree in Political Science. During his undergraduate days, he slowly found his footing in student government. He became the Senate Secretary in his pursuit for good governance for the studentry. Because of what he learned during his term, he pushed for constitutional reform of the USLS Student Organization Consititution. Alongside his secretarial duties, he was an active member of student organizations with the goal to shape and train Lasallian leaders who put the student body’s welfare first above all else. After his term in the Student Senate ended, he then pushed his focus towards his academics and his club, the Political Science Society. In his graduating year, he became the president of the Political Science Society and graduated as Summa Cum Laude of his batch.

With an unstoppable passion for constitutional reform, he continued to serve the student government of his graduate school and his undergraduate school through active participation in his political student organization. Gab attributes his success to former College of Law Dean Rosanne Gonzaga when he graduated in the year 2023, and then he proceeded to review for the most daunting trial faced by every aspiring lawyer, the BAR Exam.
Atty. Gaby passed the 2024 Bar Exam, this a moment that marked not just personal achievement but the culmination of years of perseverance and commitment. But for many, passing the BAR exam was the final goal but for Atty. Gaby, it was only the beginning of something far greater.

His story is one of resilience, proving that success isn’t defined by how quickly one reaches their destination but by the strength and determination they show along the way.
