Center for Marketing and Communications 16 Dec, 2025

The University of St. La Salle marked a milestone in campus development with the groundbreaking of the Ramon F. Villavicencio AFSC Center for Technology on December 16 at its Granada Campus.

The soon-to-rise three-story facility will be built within the University’s 55-hectare property and is designed to serve students and faculty engaged in technology-related programs.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Villavicencio family, University administrators led by President Br. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez FSC, and the De La Salle Brothers Community – Bacolod. Also present were members of the Board of Trustees, benefactors, and representatives from the College of Computing Studies.

Once completed, the Ramon F. Villavicencio AFSC Center for Innovation and Technology will serve as a hub for creative learning, research, and collaboration, empowering students to explore science, technology, and innovation within a faith-filled Lasallian environment.

The structure reflects the enduring support of Br. Ramon “Chito” F. Villavicencio, AFSC, whose long-standing dedication to advancing access to quality Lasallian education has shaped numerous initiatives across La Salle institutions.
