Center for Marketing and Communications 03 Feb, 2026

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) College of Education welcomed Batch 10 of the Southeast Asia Pre-Service Teacher (SEA Teacher) Program participants from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The visiting pre-service teachers, Kamilah Hasanatun and Rahadatulaisy Nur Nisrina, will engage with students of the USLS Basic Education Unit for nearly one month as part of an international teaching exchange initiative. During their stay, they will participate in classroom instruction, school activities, and academic observations designed to promote cross-cultural learning and professional growth.

The SEA Teacher Program is a project of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) that aims to strengthen regional cooperation in education by providing pre-service teachers with international teaching experiences and meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange. Through immersion in partner institutions across Southeast Asia, the program enhances pedagogical competence, intercultural understanding, and collaborative learning among future educators.

USLS has been an active participant in the SEA Teacher Program since 2019, consistently sending and receiving pre-service teachers as part of its commitment to internationalization and regional academic collaboration.
