Center for Marketing and Communications 10 Sep, 2025

A second-year Environmental Engineering student from UniLaSalle Polytechnic Institute, Rennes Campus in France is currently hosted by the University’s College of Engineering for a 17-week  laboratory technician and observer program starting this September.

French student Paul Lelievre is recipient of this program which aims to provide hands-on exposure to various laboratory and field environments.

During his stay, Lelievre will be engaged in observational work at the Chemical Engineering Laboratory, the DOST-funded Center for Aerogel Technology and Environmental Engineering (CATEE), the Granada Ecopark Biodiversity Center, and the College of Arts and Sciences laboratories.

The placement also aims to strengthen his theoretical foundation by having Lelievre sit-in selected classes and laboratory exposures under the Master’s in Environmental Engineering program in the Graduate School.

The University has been in partnership with UniLaSalle since March 2020 through the Go-LaSalle Mobility Program, which provides UniLasalle’s incoming 3rd-year students with the opportunity to explore the Lasallian network and gain international experience in a supportive environment.
